If you have a pen name, can you
explain how you came up with it?
I had to have a pen name as there were already
two authors writing for my publisher with my surname. The editors thought it
would be confusing to readers to have another one even if the first name was
different. I had a list of names I put forward but my publisher chose this one.
What are a few things we would
find on your desk?
Essential oil room spray ( it’s
supposed to boost creativity!) a make up brush I use to dust off my keyboard, story
cards, a baby name book, my writing trophies and the HOLT Medallion, pens,
paper and of course, my desk top computer, which occasionally has one of our
cats sleeping behind it!
Tell us about your book…
Struggling actor, Kat Winwood is
the recently discovered love child of famous London theatre actor Richard
Ravensdale. But she refuses to meet him much less get him to open doors for
her. Her father’s lawyer Flynn Carlyon has been assigned the task of getting
Kat to Richard’s Sixty Years in Showbiz party, and he will use whatever means
at his disposal to achieve his goal, including seduction!
