Where is your favorite place to write?

I have an office decorated to represent my taste with colors and coziness.  It's got photos of the family, my kids.  My Boondock Saints collection is in there, my own little library, too. I collect autographed first editions and that's where they are displayed.  I spend about ten hours a day in here working on the next project, social media or what the family is doing. My kids are grown so it's just my husband and me, but we try to keep busy. Our Friday night dates are big and I plan them here.

Favorite snack to eat while writing (or reading). I drink tea usually.  Snapples in the afternoon. I don't usually snack while I work, but I do break for breakfast, lunch and dinner to stay sharp. I'm a vegetarian of 18 years so that dictates what we eat. Love popcorn
Hot and Humid or Cold and Snowy?

I live in the mountains and get four seasons.  I love the snow and hated Hawaii so I guess that answers that.
What is one book everyone should read?

I read (and watch) A Christmas Carol every year.  I think it is the most profound book ever.  I truly believe I am a better person, more aware of the world around me, because of my love of that story.
What's next for you?

I am finishing up Illegal Exit with a summer release date.  In addition, I am working on A Collection of Dead Men: 13 short stories ... staring our favorite vampires. I love working with the guys again.
Tell us a little about your book...

Dead Men Seal the Deal is the second installment of the Dead Men series, this one focusing on Jason. Again we have a house with five best friends--now with Ash-- all loyal to each other and willing to kill or die to keep each other safe.  It is their friendship that is the driving force behind the stories. Not the fact they are vampires.

Dead Men Seal the Deal

Too-playful-for-his-own-good, Jason Sullivan keeps himself busy working his job, hitting the gym, and dating the right girl for the right amount of time. He loves romance. He loves treating a woman right. Until he has a chance encounter with Taylor Grant. Taylor escaped Georgia to flee a broken relationship. Her convictions to stay single, stay away from men and give up sex altogether will be challenged when the mischievous Jason gets her in his cross hairs.

Jason’s seductions are not only in his romances, but also in his job. When a meeting with a new client brings Jason's human past forefront, secrets and regrets come crashing down around him. He will turn not only to the new lady in his life, but to his ‘brothers’—Travis, Ian, Quinn and Evan—who will unite as an unstoppable force that not even one greedy, vindictive hag can expect.

  5. I've seen so many interviews with Ms. Jacoby lately, I feel like we're old pals by now. (Interesting interviews, too!)

I've been seeing a lot about the books about the "five men to die for," too. I bought the first one already, and hope to get to it soon. (See, all of this exposure DOES wear some readers down... HA!)

I've been a vegetarian 18 years too, though not as disciplined in my snacking habits....

  9. Since we spend so much time in an office, it might as well be decorated the way we like it! I admire you for your discipline on the "no snacking" - I tend to snack all day, and it's not apples and carrots. Need to work on that!

"Illegal Exit" sounds like a very intriguing title!
