DO YOU LIKE SUMMER OR WINTER?

I like summer over winter for sure. I don't like the bitter, bitter cold, but honestly my favorite season is the fall hands down. The leaves are turning, it's pleasant out. Not too hot and not too cold. The nights are cool for good sleeping and the leaves are turning into glorious different colours.

AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM OR CRACKLING FIREPLACE?

Cracking fireplace because I love the sounds, the sight and the smells of a good fire.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE SCENE TO WRITE?

I think my favorite scene was when Geri was going to her first real society event. She's in an expensive dress, feeling completely overwhelmed and then realizes that the Dark Duke all the debutantes are talking about is actually Thomas. The chemistry there was so great. I loved writing that scene. I also loved the scene where they get a Christmas Tree for Thomas' sister Zoe. That was a fun scene to write.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BOOK.

It's a bit of the Reluctant Debutante. Geri never knew her father and then discovers he's a Lord and she's his heir. She comes to London to aid him in his Harley Street clinic and has a run in with Thomas, who helps guide her through this world she's not used to.

An unexpected inheritance…
When Geri Collins learns she's the daughter of a lord her world changes in an instant. Running from a relationship gone wrong, she seizes the opportunity to help her gravely ill father by running his Harley Street clinic.
If only she didn't have to deal with the sensual temptation of her new partner—the notorious "Dark Duke"! Thomas Ashwood unnerves her with every burning look and suggestive word. And as Christmas approaches Geri finds herself contemplating the consequences of a kiss under the mistletoe…

    1. Thank you. You'll find a lot of the Royal Family who are not in direct line to the throne do work. I mean, even Prince William flew a rescue helicopter for some time. I like the modern aristocracy. :)

  5. Congratulations, Amy. Sounds like a fun read. Ah, to be the daughter of a duke. A cousin of a duke. A distance relative... One can only dream.

  7. If the Dark Duke is the dude on the cover, I say Geri should take full advantage of the mistletoe.
