Robin Gianna on the web:
Do you like summer or winter?
-I enjoy both, but particularly love winter, if there's
snow and sunshine. Not crazy about cold, gray drizzle
though, which we get too much of here! :-)

Air-conditioned room or crackling fireplace?
-Definitely the crackling fireplace! We have both a
woodburning fireplace and a gas one, and I enjoy both.
My favorite place to write in the winter is in a chair by
the gas fireplace next to a big window. Makes me happy.

What was your favorite scene to write?
-Ooh, a tough one! I guess it's the first scenes where
Sean and Bree are struggling to figure out how to take
care of a newborn baby, and find it's a little more
challenging than they'd expected!

Surgeon Sean Latham and ER Doc Bree Donovan were
crazy in love, but it soon became clear they wanted very
different things in life, and Bree broke their engagement.
After a serious car accident leaves Sean's sister in critical
condition and her baby born early but healthy, Sean is
forced to come to Bree for help. Spending time together
again is sweet torture for both of them--will they possibly
come to see that they're not as different as they think?

Anticipating winter, eh?
ReplyDeleteI am, Liz! It's been unusually hot here for the past month, and I'm really ready for sweater weather! :-)
DeleteI love the winter in Florida, but elsewhere not so much. I do miss snow. I wish I had a crackling fireplace.
ReplyDeleteIntense storyline.
Probably in Florida, you don't need a crackling fireplace too much, do you Medeia? But I do love mine! Thanks for stopping by :-)
DeleteI'm in India, so AC is on more and then I dont have a fireplace- but a heater ;)
ReplyDeleteAlthough av fireplace is too romantic!!!
Fireplaces are romantic, aren't they? Nothing like snuggling up on a cold night. I think I'll have to find a way to put a romantic scene in front of one for the next book :-)
DeleteI like cool weather, but cold....not so much.
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of people who feel just like you do, Sandra! :-) Thanks for stopping by
DeleteI also enjoy winter, too. But Florida doesn't really have much of a winter. lol
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you Floridians lately, Chrys! It's been so super hot and humid for the past month, I've realized I'd have a hard time dealing with it all summer long. But maybe it's something you just get used to. :-)
DeleteMedical romances are fun, I've always liked them. I like winter too, not as many bugs out at that time.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoy Medical romances, Mary! And you're right - I never thought about one of the benefits being no bugs outside in the winter. Definitely a plus! :-)
DeleteAfter this long hot summer, I'm definitely looking forward to cooler weather. We have a wood-burning fireplace, but it's rarely cold enough here to use it. (I reckon we COULD turn on the air conditioning before striking a match to it...)
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds super. I've got a soft spot for medical romances.
A fire going in the air conditioning sounds decadent and fun, Susan :-) If you read the book, I'd love to hear what you think of it. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat interview, this looks like the perfect weekend read!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! :-)
