What are a few
things we would find on your desk?
Currently on my desk is a
pile of papers and books. I had to move my office …again, so right now I’m in
the midst of setting it up …again. Mostly I work in my living room, in my easy
chair so I can keep an eye on my puppy and beside me is usually my phone and a
cup of coffee.
What motivates
you to write?
I love it. I’ve always loved
to write. I can’t picture myself not writing when I’ve always done it. First it
was when I was playing with dolls as a child and then when I outgrew the toys I
started writing the stories down. There are constant characters talking in my
head.

something about yourself no one else knows?
I think belly buttons are
super gross. I don’t know why, but I have a
real big problem with them. Last year I had a laparoscopic surgery with
one of my incisions done in the belly button. I could look at the others, but
when they talked about that one I would almost pass out. It’s strange I can
handle most things but that.
What was your favorite scene to write?
My
favourite scene has to be the charity event at the Beverly Hills hotel. This is
the moment that Flo tells Nate about her secret. I loved the emotion in that
speech and then of course what happened next. *winks suggestively*
Tell us about
your book…
It’s the fourth book in the
Hollywood Hills Continuity. My hero and heroine are transplant surgeons and
they continually butt heads. After a kiss, they’re
photographed by the paparazzi and have to pretend they’re a couple to restore the reputation of the Hollywood Hills Clinic, which prides itself on patient confidentiality. Of course, during their fake relationship, real feelings develop.

Belly buttons are kind of weird. I once had mine pierced (I can see you cringing now) but hated it. It was nice getting to know you, Amy. :)
ReplyDeleteYes. I totally cringed. AAAHHH! LOL
DeleteBelly buttons collect lint and other awful stuff. I agree about belly buttons.
ReplyDeleteOh this books sounds really good.
Have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting Comedy Plus. ☺
Hehehe...Sandee, you had a fun post!
DeleteAgreed, Sandee. Awful, awful stuff. ;)
DeleteWhat's wrong with belly buttons? It's a very handy place to hold a wad of gum. :) (Just kidding!)
ReplyDeleteA romance featuring transplant surgeons? Sounds terrific!
Ahhhh! Gum?? LOL
DeleteI had to giggle at the belly button comment. Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! ;) Most people find it humorous when they find out then flash me their's.
DeleteSounds like a fun read and what a great cover.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fantastic cover. One of my favourites. :)
DeleteLove the belly button comment! :)
ReplyDeleteBook sounds awesome! Can't wait!
LOL The belly buttons are getting the most comments. ;)
DeleteI hope the office move ended up with a fabulous new office.
ReplyDeleteNot as nice as before. I gave up the office so each kid can have their own room. It was getting to that point. They're all getting older. I'm in the basement, next to the guinea pigs ...who are loud. LOL
DeleteAlways interested in having a peek at what writers keep on their desks. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
Great cover and looks like a fantastic read. Belly buttons are odd. I'm sometimes grossed out by them, especially outies.
