Over to Nicole now as she answers questions...

What do you love most about writing?
Oh it’s so easy, I sit down every day and thousands of words pour out of me. Oh wait, that’s my dream not necessarily my reality J. What I love about writing is the freedom to take two characters and create situations for them and then they turn around and tell me they don’t like what I have planned and take me in a totally different direction! Writing is a love and hate relationship really. Some days you love it and other days you wonder why you started writing at all!
What do you think makes a good story?
Characters that people can relate to, but also get swept away on an emotional journey. I know, for myself as a reader, I want to connect with the characters and when they sigh I sigh. When they get angry – I get angry. At the end I want to care about the characters and wonder what they’re doing. How they’re going and if they have any children.
You wrote about exotic places – what is your ideal holiday destination?
I think somewhere where the weather is hot but not too hot. There is a beach or pool nearby with an umbrella and big umbrella shading me so that I can sit and read and relax.
Anywhere you haven’t travelled you would like to go?
I’ve probably travelled more in the last three and half years than I had before. But I know that there are places in the States I’d still like to visit. See something of the historical and natural landmarks. I’d love to go back to New York and probably another Caribbean Island – we went to Trinidad a couple of years ago and that was beautiful.
What one item do you always pack when you travel?
My e-reader and laptop so I can read and write. Opps that was two. LOL
Tell us a little about your current release …..
Bound By Her Ring is basically a reunion story at the core. It’s about a couple who through an accident have parted and find their way back to each other. Throw in a little amnesia so that one character doesn’t remember the other. Add a dash of revenge and blackmail and you have a wonderful story of highs and lows and a guaranteed happy ever after.
