Do you have a dream? Something you secretly (or not so secretly) long for in life?
Izzy, the heroine of my Sept release Defying the Prince, desperately wants to be a singer but no one takes her seriously. Despite the fact she’s been humiliated on a reality TV show and ridiculed by her family, she refuses to give up on her dream and I LOVE that about her. She believes in her talent and she loves what she does and she isn’t going to let anyone kill that dream. She pushes herself, she praises herself and she gives herself daily goals to keep herself on track.
I think strength comes in many different forms but sometimes it’s about having the courage to know what you want and not give in when things get hard and people put obstacles in your path. That’s Izzy. Writing this heroine reminded me that achieving a goal is all about knowing what you want and then going for it, one step at a time and not letting anyone knock you from that path.
