Felice is a big fan of bluegrass and country, and a lover of all things woodsy and romantic. Ball gowns or plain dresses?

Flirty summer dresses and knee-high boots!

Where is your favorite place to write?

I have a Pinterest board entitled ‘naughty little writing cave’, which shows a lot of cozy, tucked away places. I wrote a good portion of The Sound of Your Name by the beach in Hawaii—warm breezes, ocean waves, Tiki torches lit at twilight. If only it could be that way always!

Favorite snack to eat while writing (or reading).

Dark chocolate anything! Also popcorn homemade on the stove with coconut oil. And now, my mouth is watering…

Hot and Humid or Cold and Snowy?

 Hot and humid. No question.

What is one book everyone should read?

Wow. That’s such a great question. Right now, I would love everyone to read Mating in Captivity by Esther Perel (or just go watch her TED talk). It’s all about maintaining eroticism in long-term relationships and I think it’s one of the most life-affirming, love-affirming books out today. It gives me hope for the passionate, soul-deep relationship I want in my life.

 What's next for you?

I have a few other titles in the works, including three more in the Cameron Ranch series. I love those naughty cowboys and can’t wait for you to read Travis, Luke and McKenna’s stories. I have another book coming soon called Follow You Home, about a deliciously brave rescue boat captain and the American tourist who was his first kiss. That one is set in a small seaside village in the UK. The best way to keep in touch and hear about those new releases is to sign up here.

Tell us a little about your book...

In The Sound of Your Name, columnist Ellie Donovan had done many things to get a great story for Modern Luxury Magazine, but pimping herself out to a pro bull rider who thinks she’s the only thing keeping him on track for the gold buckle, isn’t one of them. Being sexy Brody’s good luck charm wasn’t exactly a hardship—until she discovers she doesn’t want it to end.

Brody Cameron couldn’t help but bow to cowboy superstition on the night he should have lost his spot on the pro circuit, when a secret tryst with a pretty stranger changed his luck, and his heart, forever. Caught between the love he wants and the money his family needs, Brody can’t share the truth with Ellie and risk losing his shot at the big money.

But when Cameron family secrets are exposed, and a jealous rival threatens to tear them apart, can Ellie and Brody break their silence without breaking each others’ hearts?

And dark chocolate is always good. Sometimes sinfully so.

    1. Thanks for saying so, Meradeth! Writing on the beach in Hawaii was a once in a lifetime experience. My cousin (named Meredith! :-)) was doing the Ironman 70.3 in Kona and invited me along to work while she trained and raced.

I like nothing better than a book cover with rippling abs to give a hint of what is inside.

    1. Hi Manzanita! Our cover model is stunning and inspiring. Can you imagine a man like that brought to his knees? I also like it when they're clothed but they look like they're coming right for you and they're not going to stop (the cover of my book "Hold Me Together" is like that. Yum!).

    1. Thank you so much for saying so, Morgan! This was a really fun interview. My favorite question was the must-read book which really made me think. There are so many romance novels I love to recommend, but this one non-fiction title is at the heart of what I write about. Thank you so much for checking out the interview and saying hello! <3
