What do you love most about writing?

I love the people that come alive and talk to me. I love to tell their stories.

What do you think makes a good story?

Again … it’s the people that live within the pages of the book.  It’s watching them face trials and troubles and find their solutions.  And in the case of the romance industry, find their one true love.

You wrote about exotic places – what is your ideal holiday destination?

The Pointe Hilton in Phoenix.  It’s a whole lot of poolside time raising the little flag on the lounge chair to order food or drinks.  Then there is the ”Lazy River” with its inner tubes that you relax in as the current takes you slowly around the compound.  I love visiting this resort with my family. In fact, we have a trip planned there in May for my fiftieth birthday. It’s not exactly exotic but I do always have a ton of fun there.

Anywhere you haven’t travelled you would like to go?

New Zealand.  I would like to take an extended vacation there, maybe three to four weeks discovering both islands.  I’ve always wanted to see what Middle Earth was like.

What one item do you always pack when you travel?

I almost always pack an extra pillow.  The hotels never have enough and I have to have lots of pillows.

Tell us a little about your current release...

With a Vengeance is a fast paced action novel where the hero and heroine realize they want more out of their relationship than just friendship. Set against the backdrop of exotic places, it’s a suspense novel that doesn’t fail to deliver a great adventure.

WITH A VENGEANCE

The more she wanted out, the more they dragged her back in!
Daughter to murdered CIA officers, niece to a deputy director, Jaime Walsh has never known life outside the world of espionage. Until a high-action case in Buenos Aires leaves her gutted. Physically, emotionally…and professionally.
She’d planned for her long-overdue vacation to be a time to rest and reassess. With her longtime partner Stephen not far behind, it’s a tropical paradise away from work. A paradise where boundaries will be tested.
From their training days, Stephen Reid has watched Jaime kick ass while performing what has become his second job—watching her back. But now his feelings have grown.
As best friends look at each other in a new light, they like what they see. And Jaime dreams of a new life outside “the company”.
Except someone from their past won’t be satisfied until Jaime and the man she loves are hunted to the brink of death. Now Jaime must find the strength to trust her heart and let go of her fear. Before she loses everything…
