* What is the significance of your book's title?

The book’s title is meant to convey that it’s a marriage of convenience with the baby’s nanny. But, funny story, I also have a book out in August with my other publisher, Harlequin, called Marrying the Enemy. That hasn’t been confusing at all! (It actually has been very confusing!!)

* Did you find it meaningful?

Most of my titles are assigned by the publisher or I have a little input. I wish they were more colorful, but in todays online world, with so many books to choose from, readers need to have a really quick sense of what a book is about so I think the titles work on that level really well.

* What is the theme of this book?

This whole trilogy is about the importance of family – how we remember our childhood and how that affects us going forward. Forgiving our parents for being human and deciding who we are as adults. And love in all it’s forms. I really love everything about these books and hope you do too!

* How were these themes brought to life?

Gosh, I don’t know! I guess I love putting my characters into those moments where they are very self-centered, then realize oh, my father had a rough life as a child and just didn’t have the capacity to show affection. Or, in another case, one character had cut his daughter out of his life for a time, then realized that the person who suffered most was himself so he acted differently when given a fresh chance.

Reid ran away from Raven’s Cove and his very difficult childhood planning to never return. But when his father passes away, leaving a baby half-sister and a fly-in fishing resort in financial trouble, he and his brothers have to band together to repair the resort. They aren’t counting on having to look after a baby so they keep the nanny, Emma. She thinks they’re about as loving as a pack of wolves, but she loves Storm. When it looks like they all might lose the baby, she agrees to marry Reid so she might have a chance at finally becoming a mom.

When infant Storm is orphaned, nanny Emma Wright, on a work visa and still reeling from a painful divorce, yearns to adopt her but must relinquish Storm to her three adult half-brothers. They remind her of a pack of wolves–protective, but not prepared to care for a baby. Alpha male Reid is especially aloof and intimidating.

Like his younger brothers, Reid Fraser left the Westcoast village of Raven’s Cove at eighteen and never looked back. Now a successful corporate consultant who rescues failing businesses—which is what this fly-in fishing resort has become, Reid must rally his brothers to save Storm’s inheritance, but he and his estranged brothers barely get along. They can’t deal with an infant, too. They need the nanny.

As Emma coaches Reid through midnight feedings and teething, they try to ignore the sexual pull between them. Then they learn Storm may have family who could take her from them. Reid proposes a marriage of convenience, but will it be enough to keep this fractured family together?

  1. Titling a book is the hardest part, anyway. And I know I don't necessarily remember titles of books I've read. (I'll remember the plot, but not what the thing was called.)
